- The customer service team is second to none! They are constantly helping me change flights or communicating with a hotel for me. They go above and beyond.
- Another point just to brag on their CST department - I had a personal flight booked 2 years ago for my husband and I. I filled out some information wrong. Fast forward to us checking in and there were issues. The airline was going to charge us for an additional ticket for over $800! The CST member for TA called the airline company, did some sweet talking and figured it out for me. I was so happy I almost cried!

- Massive inventory: Minimizes our own employees telling us some other site is cheaper.
- Global Pricing: Since TripActions has the role of an inventory aggregator, they have to tackle inventory one distributor at a time. If CTrip or MakeMyTrip has better inventory, it won't flow through to TripActions until a deal with them is made.
- Controls: TripActions is very open in the way it enforces policy - meaning it isn't for every company. If a customer wants more heavy-handed controls, they'll have to go with a competitor.
- If you want a platform that requires approvals before booking, TripActions isn't for you. If you operate heavily in China or India, TripActions won't have the domestic inventory you need.
- For everyone else, I'd recommend TripActions.

- Direct expense export to Expensify
- Sometimes hard to find the exact location, or take some time to search, say Chicago, there are dozen of towns, sometimes I don't have the exact town name, or it is not available in the app.
- Hope to have more refundable rate available
- Pro: TripActions is easy to use, competitive price, can split to personal trips and company trips.
- Con: Frequent spontaneous trip, unplanned, since it $25 bucks for each trip generated.
- Shows you what flights your colleagues are on.
- Shows you where your colleagues are staying when booking a trip.
- Easy app to use.
- Syncs travel information with your email.
- Syncs expenses with Expensify.
- Although the chat function for support on site is nice, sometimes it's preferable to speak to a live person on the phone.

The TripActions support is awesome!! If anything comes up where I need to make changes, I can click the chat button and have the TripActions team work on my needs. Even with booking in the UK, they are able to call the hotel for early arrival etc. Makes my job so much easier! No more holding on the phone for an airline to pick up. TripActions takes all that trouble and delivers great customer service!!
We can also use TripActions for our personal travel and get the heavy discounts it offers. Best travel site I have used and I've used several over the years.

- I needed to change an existing flight and they did all the work for me to do this.
- My boss needed early arrival in Sydney and they called the hotel and arranged this for me.
- I needed to see if everyone booked their flights to our company meeting and was able to see everything easily.
- I really don't have any cons, they provide excellent service

- Concierge services are pretty effective overall...
- The software allows for flexibility so that we can tune the "company policy" settings to find the right balance for us.
- TripActions has very solid integration with Expensify and has made the expense reporting process much easier.
- "Receipts" for hotels and car rentals don't include charges billed later (e.g. meal at the hotel, gas for rental car). If users are using that feature they need to submit a second invoice manually to capture that.
- It doesn't connect to frequent flyer balance information - would be nice to see it in one place...
- TripActions could integrate a product like Seat Guru to help travelers pick their seat.
TripActions, The Good and the Improvable
- Comparing multiple hotel brands based on price, quality, and the distance from the convention center we will be going to, or any designated area.
- Incentivizing my colleagues to choose a less expensive hotel by offering Amazon gift cards for such bookings.
- Customizable policies based on who the traveler is, as well as for specific trips depending on how I've set it up, which doesn't allow people to book out of policy without my approval. It's a wonderful way to have oversight in an otherwise mostly independent setup.
- I would love to see a partnership with AirBnB happen. The prices have sometimes been cheaper there when booking trips prior to TripActions, and being able to compare that would be great.
- Having the option to book a basic Flight as opposed to Economy. It may sound cheap, but for the difference of a large carry-on that ends up needing to be checked anyway, it could save my company a lot of money in months with heavy flight traffic.
- While I understand the structure of setting a policy and having the traveler do the booking themselves, I would still love to have more oversight by needing to approve even an in-policy trip.
